The small hatbox ranch
I was so excited about my color consultation. I had tons of thoughts. I know my Colorist must have thought I was nuts but she was very nice about it and listened patiently.
See, my biggest problem was Hunterâ?¦it’s just that every time I read a magazine, they were saying Hunter is a thing of the past Well, I like it…I have to, I can’t afford another living room set. SO there it was in all it’s gloryâ?¦ faux suede hunter green….couch, loveseat, oversized chair and ottoman.
My Colorist, Eileen, told me that in nature, hunter green never gets told it is old! Having said that, she told me that the sky is the limit when it comes to putting together a perfect color palette. Imagine my surprise when she started pulling out Devine Cayenne and Devine Saffron. I was so surprised. There was no green in my palette but my old furniture looked totally different.
Now, my small hatbox ranch is looking pretty snappy. Well, that’s it. That’s enough though…don’t ya think?
